About MWN Rehab

For over 13 years, MWN Rehab has provided compassionate, evidence-based addiction treatment to the Fremont community and the greater Bay Area. Our story is one of dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment to recovery.

MWN Rehab founding

Our Story

MWN Rehab was founded in 2013 by a group of healthcare professionals who recognized a critical gap in addiction treatment services in the East Bay. They envisioned a facility that would combine clinical excellence with genuine compassion — a place where every patient would be treated as an individual, not a number.

What began as a small residential program on Stevenson Boulevard has grown into one of Fremont's most respected addiction treatment centers. Over the past 13 years, our team has helped more than 4,400 patients navigate the path from active addiction to sustained recovery.

Today, MWN Rehab operates a 28-bed facility staffed by 53 dedicated professionals, including board-certified addiction medicine physicians, licensed therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and certified counselors. Our intimate size is intentional — it allows us to deliver the personalized, high-touch care that makes lasting recovery possible.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide accessible, compassionate, and clinically excellent addiction treatment to individuals and families in the Fremont community and throughout the Bay Area. We believe that every person struggling with substance use disorder deserves the opportunity to heal in a safe, dignified environment.

We are committed to removing barriers to treatment, meeting each patient where they are, and equipping them with the tools, skills, and support network they need to sustain lifelong recovery.

Treatment Philosophy

At MWN Rehab, we view addiction as a complex medical condition that requires a comprehensive, individualized approach. Our treatment philosophy is rooted in evidence-based practices while honoring the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.

We integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and medication-assisted treatment with holistic modalities like mindfulness meditation, yoga, and nutritional counseling. This integrative approach addresses not just the addiction itself, but the underlying factors that fuel it.
